SASAC Releases Second Batch of AI Scenarios and Datasets, Launches Open-Source Community 2.0 and Smart Factory
At the 2026 World AI Conference, China's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) released the second batch of high-value AI scenarios and high-quality datasets from central state-owned enterprises. It also launched the AI open-source “Huanxin Community” 2.0 and initiated the Joint Foundation Project for an Intelligent Software Factory. SASAC said it will accelerate computing infrastructure construction and promote open-source collaboration.
At the 2026 World AI Conference, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) officially released the second batch of strategic high-value artificial intelligence scenarios and high-quality industry datasets from central state-owned enterprises during the “AI Empowering New Quality, Comprehensive Renewal” Enterprise AI High-Quality Development Forum. It also launched the AI open-source “Huanxin Community” 2.0 and initiated the Joint Foundation Project for State-owned Central Enterprise Intelligent Software Factory. These achievements cover the full-chain capability layout, including open-source ecosystem, scenario implementation, data circulation, and intelligent computing power. SASAC stated that it will further deepen the central enterprise “AI+” special action, focusing on high-value scenarios, proactively opening scenario resources to the industrial chain, and collaborating with upstream and downstream enterprises for innovation. At the same time, it will strengthen the supply of key elements, accelerate the construction of computing infrastructure, deepen computing-power-electricity coordination, enhance full-chain data governance capabilities, promote open-source and openness, and foster a mutually beneficial industrial ecosystem.
