South Korea July ICT Exports Rise 140.6% to Record USD 53.36 Billion
South Korea's ICT exports hit USD 53.36 billion in July 2026, up 140.6% from a year earlier, a record for the month and the second straight month above USD 50 billion. The sector accounted for 54% of total exports, holding above 50% for a third consecutive month, according to government data.
Data published on the 14th by South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on ICT import and export trends for July 2026 showed that the country's information and communication technology (ICT) exports reached USD 53.36 billion, up 140.6% year on year, setting the highest record for the month in history and marking the second consecutive month above USD 50 billion. In the same month, ICT exports accounted for 54% of South Korea's total exports, with the share remaining above 50% for three consecutive months.
