Typhoon White Dolphin has disrupted operations at 38 airports across eastern China. All flights at Ningbo Lishe, Taizhou Luqiao and Lishui airports were cancelled on August 9, while Wenzhou Longwan and Zhoushan Putuoshan airports saw near-total cancellations. Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao airports cancelled nearly 80 percent of flights. Hangzhou Airport cancelled 270 arrivals and departures, mainly for the afternoon.

Hangzhou Airport announced that 270 arrival and departure flights were cancelled on August 9, concentrated mainly in the period after 12:00 noon.
