UAE Pledges 40 Billion Euros of Investment in Germany

The investment builds on 34 billion euros the UAE has already invested in Germany. In 2025, during a visit to France, the UAE president pledged investment of up to 50 billion euros; the UAE has also committed 40 billion US dollars to Italy and 51 billion US dollars to Turkey. During US President Trump's visit in 2025, the UAE announced a commitment to invest about 1.4 trillion US dollars in the United States. The UAE hosts US military bases on its territory and has also become a principal target of retaliatory attacks by Iran.

The UAE has said it will direct funds to a broader range of international partners to safeguard critical supply chains and attract the local production of relevant equipment.
