China's Water Conservancy Investment Reaches 515.1 Billion Yuan in H1; Yangtze-Han River Diversion Accelerates

In the first half of this year, China implemented a total of 33,000 water conservancy projects nationwide, with completed investment reaching RMB 515.1 billion. A number of key national water network backbone water conveyance and drainage channels and important regulation and storage projects, including the Beibu Gulf Water Resources Allocation project and the Guxian Water Control Project on the Yellow River, are being accelerated.

At the construction site of the follow-up Yangtze-to-Han River Diversion Project of the South-to-North Water Diversion, eight hard rock tunnel boring machines are operating simultaneously, and the main water conveyance tunnel has been excavated over 31 kilometers.
