112 A-Share Companies Raised RMB 398.97 Billion via Private Placements Since 2026; Hongqiao Holdings Tops

Since the start of 2026, 112 A-share companies have completed private placements raising RMB 398.97 billion in total. Hongqiao Holdings led with RMB 63.518 billion, followed by China Shenhua and Diantou Chanrong. Placements spanned 24 industries, with electronics, machinery, and autos having the most issuers. Coal, nonferrous metals, and electronics led fundraising. Among placement records, 80 showed premiums and 49 discounts, with the largest premium at Kexiang (363.73%) and the largest discount at JAC Motors (51.38%).

Since the start of 2026, a total of 112 companies have carried out private placements, raising an aggregate of RMB 398.97 billion. Based on the listing date of the placements, there have been 129 placement records, with 47.454 billion shares issued and total proceeds of RMB 398.97 billion. These figures cover multiple boards: 28 companies on the Shenzhen main board raised RMB 168.767 billion, 38 on the Shanghai main board raised RMB 138.885 billion, 26 on the ChiNext raised RMB 28.274 billion, and 19 on the STAR Market raised RMB 60.765 billion.

By industry, the companies that have completed placements in 2026 span 24 Shenwan industries. Electronics, machinery and equipment, and automobiles led in the number of placements, with 18, 10, and 10 companies respectively. The industries with the largest fundraising amounts were coal, nonferrous metals, and electronics, which raised RMB 74.168 billion, RMB 69.822 billion, and RMB 66.812 billion respectively. In terms of placement size, six companies raised over RMB 10 billion, seven raised between RMB 5 billion and RMB 10 billion, 15 raised between RMB 2 billion and RMB 5 billion, 24 raised between RMB 1 billion and RMB 2 billion, and 60 raised below RMB 1 billion, of which 33 raised less than RMB 500 million.

Among companies that have completed placements, Hongqiao Holdings raised the most at RMB 63.518 billion, followed by China Shenhua with RMB 60.08 billion and Diantou Chanrong with RMB 45.285 billion. In addition, for some placements, the latest closing price showed a premium or discount relative to the placement price. There were 80 premium records, with the largest premiums seen at Kexiang (363.73%), Honghe Technology (271.90%), and Hongqiao Holdings (256.52%). There were 49 discount records, with the largest discounts at JAC Motors (51.38%), Siquan New Materials (31.85%), and Fanya Weitou (30.32%).
