55 Top Private Funds Appear Among Top Shareholders of 264 Listed Firms

Data from private fund research firm Simuwang shows that 55 private fund managers with assets over RMB 10 billion appeared among the top ten circulating shareholders of 264 listed companies in the first half of the year, with a combined market value of RMB 91.351 billion. Food and beverage led sector allocations, followed by electronics and computers, reflecting a barbell strategy balancing dividend-paying stocks and technology growth.

With the release of interim reports for listed companies, the heavy-stake positions of top-tier private funds have become clear. According to data from private fund data provider Simuwang, a total of 55 private fund managers with assets under management exceeding RMB 10 billion appeared on the top ten circulating shareholder lists of 264 listed companies, with a combined market value of RMB 91.351 billion.

In terms of sector allocation, food and beverage held the largest market value, followed by electronics and computers in second and third place, respectively. This configuration reflects a barbell strategy that balances dividend-yielding stocks with technology growth plays.
