On July 28, China's A-share three major indices fell. The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 1.16%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 4.52%, and the ChiNext Index declined 7.35%. Market turnover exceeded RMB 2 trillion, with over 2,700 stocks declining. The food and beverage sector bucked the trend, with several stocks hitting daily limits.
On July 28, the three major A-share indices traded weakly. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.16%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 4.52%, and the ChiNext Index fell 7.35%.
On the sector front, the food and beverage sector strengthened, with Yanjin Shop, Yiming Food, and Golden Seed Wine hitting the daily limit. The brain-computer interface concept remained active, with Innovative Medical and Hainan Haiyao hitting the daily limit. The CPO concept saw a collective adjustment, with Eoptolink and Zhongji Innolight falling over 15%. Chip stocks declined, with Zhaoyi Innovation falling by the daily limit. The disperse dye concept, tourism and hotels, and banks led the gains.
Across the market, over 2,700 stocks fell, with turnover exceeding RMB 2 trillion.
