A-Share Indices Open Lower, Shanghai Composite Down 0.91%, Changxin Technology Tumbles 7.71%

On July 28, China's four major A-share indices opened lower across the board. The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.91%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 2.25%, the ChiNext Index fell 3.12%, and the STAR Market Composite Index fell 2.3%.

On the trading floor, the computing hardware industry chain slumped, with memory, CPO, and PCB sectors leading the declines. Photovoltaic and humanoid robot concept stocks were among the top losers. Lithography machine themes rallied. More than 4,400 stocks fell across the market.

In individual stocks, Changxin Technology opened 7.71% lower at RMB45.22, giving it a market capitalization of RMB3.02 trillion. Foxconn Industrial Internet opened more than 4% lower, and the company plans to buy back shares worth between RMB10 billion and RMB20 billion.
