The options market implied a post-earnings share price move of approximately 4%, well above the average 1% move seen over the past 12 months.
The single largest options trade on Friday was a mid-term call option with a $280 strike price, valued at $2.6 million and carrying a Delta near 1. Among options expiring this Friday, the $320 strike had the largest open interest, with 13,000 calls and 5,000 puts. The most popular contract last Friday was the $300 put, which saw 7,500 contracts traded but generated only $374,000 in total premiums; the $340 call saw 5,000 contracts traded, with total premiums of $2.3 million.
