China Baijiu Stocks Open Lower on Aug 17, 2026; Moutai Down 3.5%

On August 17, 2026, the baijiu sector opened collectively lower in the A-share market. Kweichow Moutai opened down 3.5%. Luzhou Laojiao and Jinshiyuan fell more than 2%, and Shanxi Fenjiu opened down 2%. Other baijiu stocks including Wuliangye, Gujing Gongjiu, Shede and Jiugui also opened lower.
