Changxin Technology soars over 455% on STAR Market debut, market cap hits RMB3.2 trillion to top A-shares

Changxin Technology made its STAR Market debut on July 27, opening with a gain of more than 455% and pushing its market capitalisation to RMB3.2 trillion. That valuation vaulted it to the top of China’s A-share market, exceeding battery maker CATL’s RMB1.84 trillion and liquor giant Kweichow Moutai’s RMB1.61 trillion. Prior to the listing, the chipmaker was valued at just RMB579.1 billion based on its IPO price, which placed it 27th among A-share stocks.

On July 27, Changxin Technology debuted on the STAR Market, opening with a surge of over 455% and reaching a market capitalisation of RMB3.2 trillion. This makes it the largest stock in the A-share market by market cap, surpassing CATL at RMB1.84 trillion and Kweichow Moutai at RMB1.61 trillion. Previously, based on its IPO price and total share capital, the company was valued at RMB579.1 billion, ranking 27th in the A-share market.
