ChangXin Technology Tops Tencent as China's Most Valuable Listed Company
Memory chip maker ChangXin Technology, which listed on Shanghai's STAR Market in late July 2026, saw its closing market value surpass Tencent within just over two weeks of trading, becoming China's most valuable listed company. The stock, up more than five-fold from its offer price, reached a market capitalization of approximately RMB 3.54 trillion. Tencent's market value fell to about RMB 3.44 trillion after its quarterly earnings weighed on the shares.

The stock rose more than 4% during intraday trading before giving back gains to close slightly lower. Relative to its offer price, the shares have gained more than five-fold, bringing the company's total market value to approximately RMB 3.54 trillion.
Over the same period, Tencent's shares declined after the company reported quarterly results, pulling its market value down to about RMB 3.44 trillion.
