China Commodity Index Gains 1.64% in Week of Sept. 12, 2026; Crude Oil Up 16.88%

China's commodity index rose 1.64% in the week of September 12, 2026, weekly data showed. Crude oil led gains among major commodities, rising 16.88% for the week. Over the same period, geopolitical conflict escalated and crude oil inventories remained at low levels.
