China Futures Market Funds Hit RMB2.64 Trillion by End-July 2026, Up 23% from End-2025

As of end-July 2026, total funds in the futures market reached RMB2.64 trillion, up 23% from end-2025. During the same period, client equity of futures companies totaled RMB2.49 trillion, up 24% from end-2025, with general institutional client equity rising 29% and special legal person client equity increasing 28%.

The client structure of futures companies has continued to improve. As of end-July 2026, institutional clients accounted for 73% of total equity, a share that has kept rising steadily since 2024.
