China Futures Open: Polysilicon Surges Over 6%, Container Shipping Up Over 3%
China's futures market opened higher across most sectors, led by shipping and new energy materials. The INE container shipping index (Europe route) rose 3.34%, while GFEX polysilicon advanced 3.03%. Precious metals climbed, with GFEX platinum up 2.69%. Chemical products were firm, with SHFE butadiene rubber gaining 2.55% and several others over 2%. Energy products strengthened, with INE low-sulfur fuel oil up 1.97%. Ferrous metals were mixed, while oils, agricultural by-products, base metals, and non-metal building materials posted gains.

Energy products strengthened across the board, with INE low-sulfur fuel oil up 1.97% and LU fuel oil gaining over 2%. Ferrous metals were mixed, with DCE coke up 2.08%. Oils and oilseeds all rose, with DCE soybean No. 1 up 1.4%. Agricultural by-products mostly advanced, with DCE eggs up 0.99%. Base metals mostly increased, with INE international copper up 0.78%. Non-metal building materials all rose, with DCE PVC up 0.6%.
