ChiNext Margin Balance Up RMB5.05 Billion to RMB575.54 Billion, Financing Balance Rises for 5 Straight Days
On August 10, the ChiNext index fell 0.73%, while the total margin balance on ChiNext stocks increased by RMB5.045 billion to RMB575.54 billion, marking a fifth consecutive daily rise. The financing balance rose by RMB5.06 billion to RMB573.064 billion, also up for five straight days, while the securities lending balance declined by RMB14.87 million to RMB2.477 billion. Among 503 stocks with higher financing balances, 31 rose over 10%, led by Baipusis with a 134.28% surge and a 20% share price gain. Meanwhile, 461 stocks saw lower financing balances, with 37 falling over 5%.

The total margin balance on ChiNext stocks stood at RMB575.54 billion, up RMB5.045 billion from the previous trading day, marking the fifth consecutive trading day of increase. Of this, the financing balance totaled RMB573.064 billion, up RMB5.06 billion from the previous trading day, also rising for five consecutive trading days; the securities lending balance was RMB2.477 billion, down RMB14.87 million from the previous trading day.
A total of 503 ChiNext stocks saw their financing balances increase, with 31 of them posting gains exceeding 10%. The largest increase was in Baipusis, whose latest financing balance reached RMB311 million, up 134.28% from the previous day, while the stock price rose 20.00% on the day. Dongtianwei and Hongchang Technology saw their financing balances rise by 25.22% and 23.47%, respectively. Stocks with a financing balance increase exceeding 10% averaged a 3.87% gain on the day, with 23 stocks rising. Baipusis and Xinha Optoelectronics hit the daily limit up, while Pinwu Foods, Xiaocheng Technology, and Lanyu Shares led the gains at 10.61%, 9.35%, and 8.48%, respectively. Hongchang Technology, Zhonghong Medical, and Hongfuhan posted the largest declines, falling 7.51%, 4.23%, and 2.22%, respectively.
In terms of capital flows, among the stocks with the largest increases in financing balances, 18 saw net inflows of main capital on August 10, with Jingce Electronics, Dongtianwei, and Shenling Environment leading with net inflows of RMB287 million, RMB240 million, and RMB210 million, respectively. Thirteen stocks saw net outflows of main capital, with International Composites, Yiqiao Shenzhou, and Tongguan Copper Foil recording the largest outflows at RMB468 million, RMB145 million, and RMB78.30 million, respectively.
A total of 461 ChiNext stocks saw their financing balances decline, with 37 of them falling by more than 5%. Wanbang Pharmaceutical led the declines with its latest financing balance at RMB99.405 million, down 20.03% from the previous day. Weiergao and Yike Foods saw their financing balances fall by 16.63% and 11.65%, respectively.
