CSI Smallcap 500 ETFs See 32% Jump in Daily Turnover
Turnover for ETFs tracking the CSI Smallcap 500 Index reached RMB 6.589 billion on the day, up 32.46% from the previous session. Southern CSI 500 ETF led with RMB 4.52 billion, a 74.25% increase, while other funds posted gains up to 157.4%. The index rose 2.49%, with related ETFs averaging a 2.30% gain.
ETFs tracking the CSI Smallcap 500 Index recorded a combined turnover of RMB 6.589 billion on the day, an increase of RMB 1.615 billion, or 32.46%, from the previous trading session.
Among individual funds, the Southern CSI 500 ETF (510500) posted turnover of RMB 4.52 billion, up RMB 1.926 billion, or 74.25%, from the prior session. The Ping An CSI 500 ETF (510590) saw turnover of RMB 77.4032 million, an increase of RMB 35.066 million, or 82.83%. The Invesco Great Wall CSI 500 Enhanced Strategy ETF (159610) recorded turnover of RMB 17.1258 million, up RMB 8.5353 million, or 99.36%.
In terms of percentage growth in turnover, the ICBCCS CSI 500 ETF (510530) and the Invesco Great Wall CSI 500 Enhanced Strategy ETF (159610) led with increases of 157.40% and 99.36%, respectively.
By market close, the CSI Smallcap 500 Index (000905) had risen 2.49%, while related ETFs averaged a gain of 2.30%. Among them, the Tianhong CSI 500 ETF (159820) advanced 2.91%, and the Huatai-PineBridge CSI 500 Enhanced Strategy ETF (561550) gained 2.81%.
