DeNA defeated Chunichi at Nagoya Dome, powered by four home runs to secure a fourth consecutive series victory. Tsutsugo opened the scoring with a solo shot in the first inning, Miyazaki added a sacrifice fly in the fourth, and Maki and Tsutsugo hit back-to-back solo homers in the sixth. Starter Fukazawa threw six innings, allowing one run, to earn his fourth win of the season, while Chunichi starter Kanemaru suffered his ninth loss.

In Nippon Professional Baseball regular-season play, DeNA beat Chunichi on the strength of four home runs, extending their series winning streak to four. Tsutsugo opened the scoring with a solo home run in the first inning, and Miyazaki put the team ahead with a sacrifice fly in the fourth. In the sixth, Maki and Tsutsugo hit consecutive solo homers to widen the lead.

Starting pitcher Fukazawa worked six innings, giving up one run, to record his fourth win of the season. Chunichi starter Kanemaru took the loss, his ninth defeat of the year. The game was played at Nagoya Dome.
