The domestic argon market has experienced a notable uptrend since May 2026, with prices accelerating sharply in July and August, and some regions recording significant single-day gains. According to data from Baiying Bofu, argon prices reached 2,459 yuan per ton as of September 2, up more than 240% from 720 yuan per ton in early May. A number of companies, including Chendian International, Qiaoyuan Shares, Hangyang Co. , Zhichun Technology, and Jinhong Gas, are involved in argon-related businesses.
Several industrial gas concept stocks have seen substantial share price gains this year. China Shipbuilding Special Gas has surged nearly 500%, while Zhongju Core-U, Huate Gas, and Guanggang Gas have doubled. Additionally, 10 industrial gas concept stocks have attracted institutional research this year, with Huate Gas, Jinhong Gas, China Shipbuilding Special Gas, and Guanggang Gas each being surveyed by over 100 institutions.
