On July 30, the education sector posted notable gains. Chuanzhi Education opened at its daily limit-up, marking a fourth consecutive session at the ceiling, closing at 8.01 yuan. Over the four trading days, the stock accumulated a gain of 46.44%. Since the start of the week, the Shenwan education index has risen more than 12% overall. Within the sector, stocks such as Chuangye Black Horse, Kede Education, Xueda Education, Kaiwen Education, Angli Education, and Offcn Education also rose in tandem.

The recent strength of the education sector is directly linked to the sustained activity of the AI education theme. Against the backdrop of AI-driven workplace skill upgrades, demand for training in AI programming, big data, and smart manufacturing has grown significantly.

Chuanzhi Education recently launched a new discipline, "AI Embodied Intelligence Robot Development," with its first class scheduled to begin on October 20, 2026. The curriculum covers three mainstream device types: industrial robotic arms, quadruped inspection robots, and humanoid service robots. On July 28, the company introduced a complete closed-loop solution for embodied intelligence talent training and simultaneously released six layered teaching robot hardware units. The company disclosed that its short-term training business has already established an "AI Embedded + Robot Development" discipline, and enrollment for the new discipline is progressing.

On June 29, the State Council issued the "Education Development Fifteenth Five-Year Plan," specifying that a high-quality education system will be basically established by 2030, advancing AI education across all academic levels. On July 16, the Ministry of Education released the 2026 "Vocational Education Professional Catalogue" supplement, adding 27 vocational undergraduate and specialized programs, including directions such as humanoid robot engineering technology and embodied intelligence computing technology. On April 2, the Ministry of Education and four other departments jointly issued the "AI + Education Action Plan," which sets the goal that by 2030, the deep integration of AI and education will be basically formed.

From the perspective of industry supply and demand, demand for AI talent has expanded rapidly. In the first half of 2026, the number of new AI industry positions rose 21.08% year-on-year. The structural mismatch between talent capabilities and job requirements continues to fuel training demand. Meanwhile, traditional leading providers are accelerating their withdrawal, improving the industry's competitive landscape. The combination of supply contraction and demand expansion has created a resonance between supply and demand sides in the education sector. Additionally, high-valuation technology stocks have been undergoing a sustained correction recently, with month-to-date declines generally exceeding 40%. In contrast, the education sector had previously undergone a prolonged valuation digestion, with some stocks at historical trough levels, prompting a market rotation from high-valuation technology stocks to low-valuation, previously lagging sectors.
