Film and Cinema Stocks Rally as Huanrui Century Hits Four-Day Limit-Up; 2026 Summer Box Office Exceeds RMB

In morning trading on September 3, the film and cinema sector strengthened again. Huanrui Century achieved a four-day limit-up, with cumulative gains exceeding 46%. Bona Film and China Television Media also hit limit-up, while China Guangze, Enlight Media, and Beijing Culture followed with gains.

The 2026 summer box office has concluded. As of August 31, summer box office revenue exceeded RMB 12.498 billion, with 340 million admissions and approximately 38.5 million screenings. All three metrics surpassed the 2025 summer season, with screenings setting a record high for the period.
