Four Firms Disclose Buyback Progress; Hongta Securities Plans Up to RMB 100 Million

On August 31, four companies disclosed stock buyback updates, with three announcing initial repurchase plans and one reporting implementation progress. Hongta Securities led with a proposed buyback of up to RMB 100 million, followed by Sanxing Electric and Huafeng Co. with RMB 7.8 million and RMB 1.98 million, respectively. Weiguang Co. completed repurchases of RMB 5.42 million. Year-to-date, 1,046 buyback plans have been completed across 821 firms, with SF Holding, BOE A, and CATL leading at RMB 5.999 billion, RMB 5.703 billion, and RMB 4.386 billion.

On August 31, four companies issued a total of four updates on stock buyback progress. Among them, three companies disclosed initial repurchase plans, and one company reported the implementation progress of a previously announced buyback.

Of the initial plans disclosed that day, one company's proposed repurchase amount exceeded RMB 10 million. Hongta Securities, Sanxing Electric, and Huafeng Co. had the highest proposed amounts, planning to repurchase up to RMB 100 million, RMB 7.801 million, and RMB 1.9762 million, respectively.

Regarding implementation progress, Weiguang Co. recorded the highest repurchase amount, having completed buybacks totaling RMB 5.4153 million.

As of August 31, 1,046 buyback plans have been fully implemented since the start of 2026, involving 821 companies, of which 218 companies have completed repurchases exceeding RMB 100 million. SF Holding, BOE A, and CATL led in repurchase amounts, having completed buybacks of RMB 5.999 billion, RMB 5.703 billion, and RMB 4.386 billion, respectively.
