On September 15, 2026, China Securities Index Co. , Ltd. , Shenzhen Securities Information Co. and FTSE Russell jointly released the CSI Guozheng FTSE China A-Share Green Revenue Index. The index selects 100 listed companies with relatively large market capitalization from A-share securities with a high proportion of green revenue as index constituents, reflecting the overall performance of listed companies with green businesses. This is the first China A-share index jointly developed by the three parties and a practical implementation of the outcomes of the 11th China-UK Economic and Financial Dialogue. All index constituents derive at least 10% of their revenue from products and services that promote environmentally sustainable development and the green economic transition.

The index constituents currently have a total market capitalization of about RMB 9.6 trillion, covering industries related to the green economy and transition, including renewable energy such as solar and wind power, energy storage technology, new energy vehicles, grid technology, water infrastructure, and waste management and resource recycling. The index will serve as a benchmark for constructing related investment products. The three parties plan to cooperate with market participants to prepare for the launch of ETF products.

FTSE Russell recently adjusted its FTSE China A50 Index and FTSE China 50 Index, with this adjustment increasing the weight of hard technology companies in the core indices. FTSE Russell entered the Chinese market in 2001, and 2026 marks its 25th year of doing business in the Chinese market.
