Global equity funds net $182.77 billion in a month; China funds take nearly 60% of EM

Fund-flow data show that in the month to August 5, global stock funds saw net inflows of US$182.774 billion. Among them, emerging-market funds attracted US$87.243 billion, and China stock funds recorded net inflows of US$50.82 billion, representing nearly 60% of the total net inflows to EM funds.

During the same period, China ETFs listed overseas expanded at a similar pace. Among the fund categories with the largest inflows, China stock funds ranked near the top, forming a significant component of capital flows into emerging markets.
