Following the release of a GTA6 gameplay demo on Netflix, the PS5 Pro console has sold out at most major US retailers. Sony's official store still lists the console at $899, but third-party sellers on Amazon and Walmart are charging $1,299, while eBay auctions have reached $1,200. Best Buy and Target are completely out of stock.

After the GTA6 gameplay demo premiered on Netflix, the PS5 Pro console has experienced stock shortages. Most retailers have sold out of Sony's high-end console, prompting third-party sellers to significantly raise prices.

Currently, the official PlayStation store still sells the PS5 Pro at $899. Amazon has units available, but all are from third-party sellers priced at $1,299; Walmart is in a similar situation. Best Buy and Target are completely out of stock. On eBay, the highest closing price for a new console has reached $1,200.

The extended demo showcased gameplay running on the base PS5. The game has been confirmed to receive exclusive optimizations for the PS5 Pro, though specific details have not yet been announced.
