Hang Seng Index Rises 0.81% to 25,166; Meituan Up Over 4%, Tencent Up Over 2%; Chip Stocks Mostly Fall

Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index closed at 25,166.58 points, up 0.81%. The Hang Seng Tech Index rose 1.69% to 4,707.92 points. Meituan's share price gained more than 4%, while Tencent Holdings rose more than 2%. Most chip stocks fell, with Montage Technology and Tianshu Zhixin each dropping more than 4%, Hua Hong Semiconductor falling more than 3%, and GigaDevice declining more than 2%.
