Hong Kong IPO market in H1 2026: 373 applications, 100 listings raise HK$272.3 billion, tech firms dominate
Hong Kong's IPO market continued to heat up in the first half of 2026. The exchange accepted 373 new listing applications as of June 30, and together with 372 carryovers from end-2025, 745 applications were in the pipeline, with 528 under active processing. By July 28, 100 IPOs had been completed, raising approximately HK$272.3 billion. Technology companies, particularly in semiconductors, AI large models, and smart hardware, remained the core driving force, while the 'A+H' listing trend gained further momentum.

Together with 372 applications carried over from the end of 2025 that were still pending, 745 applications were in the processing pipeline, of which 528 were in an active processing state.
Wind data showed that as of July 28, a total of 100 IPOs had been completed in the Hong Kong market during the year, raising approximately HK$272.39 billion. Technology companies, including semiconductors, AI large models, and smart hardware, remained the core driving force behind listings, and the enthusiasm for 'A+H' listings continued to rise.
