HKEX to Launch Options, Derivative Warrants and Short-Selling for SHEIN on Sept 1 Debut

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) will list fast-fashion retailer SHEIN International Holding (00625) on September 1, 2026, and simultaneously introduce weekly and monthly options, derivative warrants, and short-selling eligibility for the stock, offering investors a range of products from day one.

SHEIN International Holding (00625), a Chinese fast-fashion sales platform, will officially list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 1, 2026. On the same day, the exchange will launch weekly and monthly options on the shares, with monthly option contracts available for expiration months spanning September to December 2026, as well as March, June, and September 2027.

Derivative warrants linked to SHEIN shares may be listed on the same day the stock begins trading on the exchange's securities market. Following its listing, the shares will also be included in the designated securities list eligible for short-selling on the same day. HKEX stated that it will provide investors with multiple product choices on the listing date.
