Hong Kong Stocks Close: Hang Seng Down 1.89%, Tech Index Falls 3.61%

Hong Kong stocks closed lower on August 24. The Hang Seng Index fell 1.89%, while the Hang Seng Tech Index dropped 3.61%.

In individual stocks, Zhipu and MINIMAX each fell more than 10%. Alibaba declined over 8%, SMIC dropped nearly 8%, and Hua Hong Semiconductor fell more than 5%.
