Hong Kong Stocks Open Higher as Chip and Metal Shares Lead Gains

Hong Kong stocks opened higher on the day, with the Hang Seng Index advancing 1.2% and the Hang Seng Tech Index up 1.46%. Chip and nonferrous metal sectors led the gains, while Zijin Gold International and Zijin Mining both rose more than 4%.
