July 28 A-Share Market: Indices Fall, CPO and Storage Chip Concepts Hit, BOE A to Increase Holdings

BOE A's controlling shareholder plans to increase its stake by RMB 500 million to RMB 1 billion, with no fixed price range.

In terms of sectors, the brain-computer interface concept continued its strength, the lithography machine concept was active during the session, and the consumer staples sector performed actively. The CPO concept suffered a heavy setback, and the storage chip concept adjusted collectively. Over 2,700 stocks in the market fell, with divergence between the yellow and white lines clearly visible, and heavyweight stocks weakened. The total turnover of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges was RMB 2.03 trillion, shrinking by RMB 50.8 billion from the previous trading day.

For mutual funds, affected by the sharp decline in the CPO concept sector, more than 20 funds recorded a single-day net value drop of more than 11%. Among active equity funds, multiple products heavily invested in related sectors were among the top decliners. For bond funds, various active and passive products showed divergent performance on the day, with some products recording slight gains.
