Lead and Zinc Concept Sectors Fall as Main Funds Exit; Zijin Mining Leads Outflows
At the close on September 17, 2026, the lead concept sector fell 2.31% and the zinc concept sector dropped 2.17%, both among the worst-performing concept sectors. Main funds recorded net outflows of RMB 2.638 billion from lead and RMB 2.663 billion from zinc. Zijin Mining led outflows at RMB 954 million. Shengda Resources, Hunan Gold and Hunan Silver led declines, while Zhefu Holding, Huamao Textile and Yuehongyuan A gained 2.71%, 2.23% and 1.10%.

Within the sector, Shengda Resources, Jinglan Technology and Hunan Gold led the declines. Eight stocks advanced, with Zhefu Holding, Huamao Textile and *ST Zhengping leading gains at 2.71%, 2.23% and 1.35%, respectively. On the downside, lead fell 2.31%, zinc dropped 2.17%, the gold concept declined 1.87%, PET copper foil slipped 1.79%, the MLCC concept fell 1.72%, copper dropped 1.53%, nickel declined 1.52%, combustible ice fell 1.42%, the minor metals concept lost 1.32% and ultra-supercritical power generation declined 1.30%.
