A total of 1,724 listed companies have disclosed their half-year performance forecasts, with the AI computing, robotics, and innovative drug sectors showing explosive growth. Jiang Bo Long's net profit is forecast to surge by over 600 times, while Foxconn Industrial Internet expects net profit of RMB 23.4 billion. The robotics industry saw revenue exceed RMB 90 billion in the first five months, up 26.9% year-on-year, with a five-year average growth of over 20%. The National Medical Products Administration approved 38 class 1 innovative drugs in the first half, including 11 with new targets and mechanisms, all domestically developed. Out-licensing deals for Chinese innovative drugs totaled nearly USD 110 billion, twice the 2024 full-year figure.
From an industry distribution perspective, the sectors with the most impressive profit growth correspond to several core directions of the new momentum. The artificial intelligence computing chain is the track where profit realization is most concentrated within the new momentum. Orders in the robotics industry are converting into profits. From January to May, the revenue of enterprises above a designated size in China's robotics industry exceeded RMB 90 billion, up 26.9% year-on-year, with an average annual growth rate of over 20% in the past five years. Based on performance forecasts, the signals for profit improvement in various sub-sectors of the humanoid robot chain are clear.
Innovative drug companies are entering a period of profit realization. In the first half of this year, the National Medical Products Administration approved 38 class 1 innovative drugs for market, of which 11 were new-target, new-mechanism drugs, all domestically developed. In the first half, the total value of out-licensing transactions for China's innovative drugs approached USD 110 billion, already twice the full-year figure for 2024.
