MSCI Quarterly Review Adds 33 Stocks to China Index, Removes 32, Effective Aug 31, 2026

International index provider MSCI has announced the results of its August 2026 quarterly index review, with the changes taking effect after the market close on August 31. The review covers constituent changes to the MSCI China Index, and the relevant changes will be formally implemented on the scheduled date.

The MSCI China Index will add 33 constituents, including Zhipu (02513. HK), Kingsemi (688037. SH), Fenghua Advanced Technology (000636. SZ) and Han's Laser (002008. SZ). At the same time, the index will remove 32 constituents, including GCL Technology (03800. HK), JL Mag Rare-Earth (06680. HK) and Chongqing Zhifei Biological (300122. The adjustment reflects the latest inclusion and removal of the relevant stocks under the index's compilation rules.
