China Life leads with a dividend payout exceeding 10 billion RMB, while firms in high-end manufacturing and other sectors also participate actively.
A-share companies are riding a wave of dividend distributions, with over 100 firms planning to pay out nearly 50 billion RMB in total. As the peak season for half-year report disclosures arrives, dividend plans are gradually coming to light. As of the evening of August 27, more than 100 companies have announced cash dividend plans, with the total proposed cash payout approaching 50 billion RMB. The roster of companies announcing dividend plans covers multiple core sectors, featuring both traditional blue-chip leaders and actively participating growth enterprises in niche fields. The high-end manufacturing sector is also a major force in this dividend wave, with companies such as Demali making substantial payouts.
Demali achieved operating revenue of 169.11 billion RMB in the first half of 2026, up 311.55% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies reached 60.17 billion RMB, turning from a loss to a profit. The company plans to distribute a cash dividend of 15 RMB per 10 shares (including tax) to all shareholders and to convert 4 additional shares per 10 shares from capital reserves. Based on the total share capital as of August 10, the proposed cash dividend amounts to 3.4 billion RMB, accounting for 5.65% of the net profit attributable to the parent company in the first half of 2026. Against the backdrop of a booming storage industry, Demali's share price climbed from around 68 RMB in April 2025 to 980 RMB in June 2026, representing a cumulative increase of over tenfold.
New Media Co. , Ltd. reported operating revenue of 7.48 billion RMB in the first half of 2026, down 8.42% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 2.99 billion RMB, down 13.51% year-on-year. The company plans to distribute a cash dividend of 10 RMB per 10 shares (including tax). Additionally, companies such as Yunnan Aluminum, Weichai Power, Huikang Technology, and Robam Appliances have per-share cash dividends of no less than 0.5 RMB.

On the evening of August 27, China Life released its 2026 half-year report, with operating revenue of 434.31 billion RMB, up 81.5% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to the parent of 134.49 billion RMB, up 228.6% year-on-year. The company plans to distribute a cash dividend of 0.358 RMB per share (including tax) to all shareholders, with the total proposed interim cash dividend based on issued share capital reaching approximately 10.119 billion RMB (including tax). Several companies, including Aluminum Corporation of China, Weichai Power, Bank of Shanghai, and China Pacific Insurance, have announced half-year dividends of no less than 4 billion RMB each.
