As of August 31, 55 top private fund managers appeared among the top ten circulating shareholders of 264 A-share companies that disclosed 2026 interim reports, with combined holdings of RMB 91.35 billion. Food and beverage led with RMB 15.11 billion, followed by electronics at RMB 10.55 billion. Guofeng Xinghua held the largest portfolio at RMB 37.71 billion, while individual investor Zhang Jianping entered several tech names.
With the conclusion of the 2026 interim reporting season for A-share listed companies, the second-quarter position adjustments of top private fund managers have come to light. Statistics show that as of August 31, 55 private equity funds with assets under management exceeding RMB 10 billion appeared among the top ten circulating shareholders of 264 listed companies that had disclosed their interim reports, with a combined market value of RMB 91.35 billion.
By industry, these funds held positions exceeding RMB 1 billion in 17 Shenwan first-level industries at the end of the second quarter. The food and beverage sector led with a market value of RMB 15.11 billion, followed by the electronics sector at RMB 10.55 billion, and the computer sector at RMB 9.80 billion. In addition, the petroleum and petrochemical, coal, machinery and equipment, telecommunications, and power equipment sectors each had holdings of no less than RMB 4 billion.
Among specific institutions, Guofeng Xinghua (Beijing) Private Fund Management Co. , Ltd. appeared among the top ten circulating shareholders of companies including Kweichow Moutai, China Shenhua, China Telecom, Yili, Shaanxi Coal, PetroChina, Wuliangye, ICBC, Sinopec, Luzhou Laojiao, Haier Smart Home, Daqin Railway, CNOOC, SDIC Power, and China State Construction, with a combined market value of RMB 37.71 billion. Gaoyi Asset Management's core holdings at the end of the second quarter covered stocks such as Hikvision, Zijin Mining, TCL Technology, Wanhua Chemical, Angel Yeast, and Transsion Holdings, totaling RMB 13.94 billion.
Individual investor Zhang Jianping newly entered the top ten shareholder lists of companies including Zhongji Innolight, Hengtong Optic-Electric, Hangzhou Cable, Kexiang, and Yunnan Germanium, with a combined position value of RMB 14.27 billion. His holding in Zhongji Innolight was 5.93 million shares, worth RMB 7.54 billion, making it his largest position. During the same period, Zhang exited the top ten shareholder lists of Dongfang Material, Sichuan Gold, Northern Rare Earth, Western Material, and Meinian Health.
Ge Weidong continued to hold targets such as GigaDevice, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile, and Muxi at the end of the second quarter, with a combined market value of RMB 26.07 billion. Wang Ping, while maintaining positions in GigaDevice and Anhui Jianghuai, newly entered the top ten shareholder lists of Yunnan Germanium, Sinoma Science & Technology, Huanwang Electric, and Siconch.
