Pension Funds Appear in Top 10 Shareholders of 50 Stocks, Holding RMB 14.828 Billion

As of the end of the second quarter of 2026, pension fund accounts appeared among the top ten circulating shareholders of 50 listed companies, holding a combined 569 million shares valued at RMB 14.828 billion. The largest holding was in CRRC Corporation, with 72.1977 million shares. Blue Star New Materials had the highest stake ratio at 6.5% of circulating shares. Among the 50 stocks, 24 also had social security fund presence.

As of the end of the second quarter of 2026, pension fund accounts appeared on the top ten circulating shareholder lists of 50 listed companies, with total shareholdings of 569 million shares and a combined market value of RMB 14.828 billion at the period end.

In terms of share volume, the pension fund account held the most shares in CRRC Corporation, with the Basic Pension Insurance Fund 2004 Portfolio being the company's ninth largest circulating shareholder, holding 72.1977 million shares. The second largest holding was in YTO Express, where the Basic Pension Insurance Fund 802 Portfolio was the eighth largest circulating shareholder, holding 47.6249 million shares.

By market value at the period end, 31 stocks had pension fund holdings exceeding RMB 100 million, including CFMOTO, Sunresin New Materials, and Shanghai Sinyang. In terms of shareholding ratio, the highest was in Sunresin New Materials, where the Basic Pension Insurance Fund 16022 Portfolio was the third largest circulating shareholder at the end of the second quarter, holding 20.0154 million shares, representing 6.5% of circulating shares. Other high ratios included Hailong Cold Chain and CFMOTO, with 4.69% and 3.93%, respectively.

Both pension funds and social security funds are managed by the National Council for Social Security Fund. Among the 50 stocks held by pension funds, 24 also had social security funds appearing on their top ten circulating shareholder lists. For example, YTO Express, in which the pension fund held 47.6249 million shares, had one social security fund among its top ten circulating shareholders. In terms of holding duration, the longest-held stock was Jiajiayue, which has appeared on the company's top ten circulating shareholder list for 31 consecutive reporting periods, with the latest holding of 6.6054 million shares, unchanged quarter-on-quarter.

By board distribution, among the stocks held by pension funds, 38 were on the main board, 4 on the STAR Market, and 8 on the ChiNext. By industry, pension fund holdings were concentrated in the electric equipment and machinery equipment sectors, with 6 stocks in each. In terms of performance, among the stocks with pension fund presence, 33 reported net profit growth in their half-year reports. The highest growth was in CSPC Innovation, which achieved net profit of RMB 1,261.186 million, up 46,025.71% year-on-year.
