QFII Ends Q2 Holding 44 Stocks Worth RMB 17.36 billion, New Buys Include CATL and Shengda Resources

At the end of Q2, QFII held 44 A-share stocks with a combined market value of RMB 17.36 billion, and newly bought 23 stocks worth RMB 13.4 billion, including CATL and Shengda Resources. CATL received a RMB 10.755 billion stake from UBS, its first over RMB 10 billion foreign holding in four years. Hongfa Technology's revenue rose 32.05% and net profit 19.89%. Shengda Resources' net profit surged 456.46%, and Yaxiang Integration rose 204.8%. Other new buys include Zhongchuan Special Gas, with a cumulative gain of over sixfold in 2026.

Among the 44 stocks held at the end of Q2, 17 had a market value exceeding RMB 100 million, with CATL and Hongfa Technology each attracting holdings above RMB 2 billion. In terms of new positions, QFII bought 23 stocks in Q2, with a combined market value of RMB 13.4 billion, involving several hot technology names, including Zhongchuan Special Gas, a ship-specialty gas company with one of the largest year-to-date gains, and semiconductor stocks such as Fuman Micro and Espressif Systems.
