Semiconductor Chip Stocks Surge; Several Firms Jump Over 12%

Semiconductor chip stocks rallied in volatile trading on the day. Shares of Etownchip, Juxing Technology, and Sigmastar each rose more than 12%. Rockchip and Beken Corporation had already hit the daily price limit. Other stocks, including Awinic Electronics, Allwinner Technology, Espressif Systems, MEMSensing Microsystems, and Fudan Microelectronics, advanced by more than 7%.
