Semiconductor Equipment ETFs Rally as Guangfa, Penghua, China AMC Funds Gain Over 4%
Semiconductor equipment exchange-traded funds rallied on August 17, with products from several major fund houses, including Guangfa, Penghua, China AMC, Guotai and E Fund, all rising more than 4 percent. The gains persisted throughout the trading session, marked by active turnover and heightened market participation. All relevant ETFs closed with gains above the 4 percent threshold.
Semiconductor equipment exchange-traded funds (ETFs) strengthened broadly on August 17, with gains widening across multiple related thematic products. Specifically, more than four products rose over 4 percent, including the Guangfa Semiconductor Equipment ETF, the Penghua Sci-Tech Innovation Semiconductor Equipment ETF, the China AMC Semiconductor Equipment ETF, the Guotai Semiconductor Equipment ETF and the E Fund Semiconductor Equipment ETF.
The rally in the above ETFs continued throughout the trading session, with active turnover in the affected products and noticeably greater participation from market capital. By the close, all of these ETFs retained gains above the 4 percent level.
