On September 14, 2026, the Shanghai Composite closed down 0.07% as large single orders across the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets recorded a net outflow of RMB4.11 billion. A total of 1,940 stocks saw net inflows and 2,337 saw net outflows, with 30 stocks attracting more than RMB200 million each. Huanghe Whirlwind led inflows at RMB1.556 billion, while Zhongji Innolight led outflows at RMB3.074 billion. Pharmaceuticals led sector inflows at RMB2.147 billion; communications led outflows at RMB5.901 billion.

By Shenwan first-level industry classification, 16 industries recorded net inflows of large-order funds on the day. Pharmaceuticals and biotechnology led with a net inflow of RMB2.147 billion, and the sector index rose 2.22% on the day. Food and beverage saw a net inflow of RMB1.102 billion and rose 0.26%. Machinery equipment, automobiles and other industries also ranked high in net inflows. Fifteen industries recorded net outflows. Communications saw the largest net outflow at RMB5.901 billion, followed by electronics at RMB2.353 billion. National defense, military and non-ferrous metals also ranked high in net outflows.

Among individual stocks, Huanghe Whirlwind recorded the largest net inflow of large orders at RMB1.556 billion, closing at RMB16.53, up 9.98%. Lianhua Holdings saw a net inflow of RMB1.289 billion, closing at RMB13.18, up 10.02%. Yuneng Holding recorded a net inflow of RMB795 million, Tiantong shares RMB636 million and Guoci Materials RMB599 million. Among stocks with net outflows, Zhongji Innolight recorded the largest at RMB3.074 billion, closing at RMB873.00, down 5.72%. Changxin Technology saw a net outflow of RMB1.663 billion and Eoptolink RMB1.047 billion.

Stocks with more than RMB200 million in net large-order inflows rose by an average of 7.88% on the day, with 29 gaining, including Kexiang shares and Jinyao Pharmaceutical, which closed at the daily limit. By industry, among the stocks with the largest net inflows, 13 were in electronics, five in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and two in power equipment.
