Shanghai Index Rises 1.15% on July 27; Building Materials and Composite Sectors Gain Over 5%

On July 27, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.15%, with 29 of the Shenwan industries advancing. Building materials and composite sectors led gains, up 5.44% and 5.33%, respectively. The computer sector rose 2.72%, while petroleum and petrochemicals fell 0.45% and coal dropped 0.13%. Main capital saw a net inflow of 104.346 billion yuan across the two markets. The electronics sector led with a net inflow of 82.965 billion yuan, while the computer sector recorded the largest net outflow of 907 million yuan.

Among the Shenwan industries, 29 sectors advanced, with building materials and composite sectors leading the gains, rising 5.44% and 5.33%, respectively. The computer sector rose 2.72%. The sectors with the largest declines were petroleum and petrochemicals, down 0.45%, and coal, down 0.13%.

Main capital across the two markets recorded a net inflow of 104.346 billion yuan for the day. Twenty-three industries saw net capital inflows, with the electronics sector ranking first with a net inflow of 82.965 billion yuan; the power equipment sector saw a net inflow of 4.682 billion yuan. Eight industries recorded net outflows, with the computer sector leading at 907 million yuan, followed by petroleum and petrochemicals at 818 million yuan. Banks, non-bank financials, and national defense also saw notable outflows.

The computer sector recorded a net main capital outflow of 907 million yuan for the day. Among the 334 stocks in the sector, 319 rose, including 5 hitting the daily limit, while 14 fell. A total of 166 stocks saw net capital inflows, with 9 exceeding 50 million yuan. Kingsoft Office led with a net inflow of 184 million yuan, followed by Yanshan Technology at 178 million yuan and Huasheng Tiancheng at 93.6843 million yuan. Among stocks with net outflows, 6 exceeded 50 million yuan, with Hikvision leading at 953 million yuan, followed by Unisplendour at 307 million yuan and Dawning Information at 288 million yuan.
