Shanghai Composite Index Rises 1.15%; Building Materials and Comprehensive Sectors Surge Over 5%

The Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.15% on July 27. Among Shenwan sectors, 29 advanced, with building materials and comprehensive sectors surging 5.44% and 5.33% respectively. The computer sector gained 2.72%, while petrochemicals and coal fell 0.45% and 0.13%. Net capital inflow for the two markets totaled 104.35 billion yuan, with the electronics sector leading at 82.97 billion yuan. The computer sector saw a net outflow of 907 million yuan.

Among the Shenwan industry sectors, 29 sectors advanced, with building materials and comprehensive sectors leading the gains, rising 5.44% and 5.33% respectively. The computer sector rose 2.72%. The sectors with the largest declines were petrochemicals and coal, falling 0.45% and 0.13% respectively.

Net capital inflow for the two markets (Shanghai and Shenzhen) reached 104.35 billion yuan for the full day. 23 sectors saw net capital inflows, with the electronics sector ranking first with a net inflow of 82.97 billion yuan; the power equipment sector had a net inflow of 4.68 billion yuan. 8 sectors saw net capital outflows, with the computer sector leading at 907 million yuan, followed by petrochemicals at 818 million yuan. Banking, non-bank financials, and defense and military also saw relatively large net outflows.

The computer sector recorded a net capital outflow of 907 million yuan for the full day. Among the 334 stocks in this sector, 319 rose, including 5 hitting the daily limit; 14 fell. 166 stocks saw net capital inflows, with 9 stocks recording net inflows exceeding 50 million yuan. Kingsoft Office led with a net inflow of 184 million yuan, followed by Yan Mountain Technology with 178 million yuan and Huasheng Tiancheng with 93.68 million yuan. Among stocks with net outflows, 6 saw net outflows exceeding 50 million yuan. Hikvision led with a net outflow of 953 million yuan, followed by Unisplendour with 307 million yuan and Sugon with 288 million yuan.
