Shenzhen-Listed Firms Post 10.82% Revenue Growth in H1 2026

All 2,896 Shenzhen-listed companies disclosed their 2026 interim reports by August 31, with combined revenue reaching RMB 11.4 trillion, up 10.82% year on year, and net profit of RMB 753.36 billion, up 26.88%. Both growth rates exceeded A-share averages by 3.73 and 8.47 percentage points, respectively.

As of August 31, all 2,896 companies listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange had published their 2026 interim reports. Combined revenue reached RMB 11.4 trillion, up 10.82% year on year, while net profit totaled RMB 753.36 billion, up 26.88%. These growth rates outpaced the overall A-share market by 3.73 and 8.47 percentage points, respectively.

During the first half of 2026, 2,098 Shenzhen-listed companies reported profits, accounting for 72.44% of the total. A total of 1,427 companies saw earnings growth, with 277 companies doubling their net profit, and 37 companies—including Longsys and Demingli—achieving net profit growth of more than tenfold. Shenzhen-listed real-economy companies generated combined net profit of RMB 641.342 billion, up 26.62% year on year, with net operating cash flow of RMB 593.935 billion and a gross margin of 23.61%. Their total R&D investment reached RMB 377.219 billion, up 6.54% year on year.

By board, the ChiNext Board led all Shenzhen segments with revenue and net profit growth of 22.34% and 32.73%, respectively. Private enterprises recorded a 31.91% increase in net profit.

By industry, the electronics, communications, and computer sectors saw net profit growth of 93.64%, 68.51%, and 50.58%, respectively. The 77 nonferrous metals companies in Shenzhen generated combined net profit of RMB 74.634 billion, up 227.38% year on year, while the basic chemicals industry reported a 53.54% increase in net profit.

Shenzhen-listed non-bank financial companies posted combined net profit of RMB 56.115 billion, up 61.19% year on year. The pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, comprising 253 companies, achieved combined net profit of RMB 46.203 billion, up 1.28% year on year.
