Soybean Concept Rises 2.16% in China; Qiule Seed Leads Gains

As of the September 17, 2026 close, the soybean concept sector rose 2.16%, ranking fourth among concept gainers, with 12 stocks advancing. Qiule Seed gained 15.94%, Nongfa Seed 5.62% and ST Quanyin 3.38%. The sector recorded a net main-fund outflow of RMB 113 million, while COFCO Engineering led inflows at RMB 6.2805 million. Transgenic, corn and grain concepts also advanced.

As of the September 17, 2026 close, the soybean concept rose 2.16%, ranking fourth among concept sectors by gain. Twelve stocks in the sector advanced, with Qiule Seed, Nongfa Seed and ST Quanyin leading at 15.94%, 5.62% and 3.38% respectively. Xinan Chemical and *ST Ruimao led decliners, falling 3.73% and 1.18%.

On the same day, the transgenic concept rose 4.04%, the corn concept 3.74%, the grain concept 2.85%, the CRO concept 2.09%, the agricultural planting concept 1.82%, the cellular immunotherapy concept 1.72%, and both the land transfer and recombinant protein concepts 1.65%. The childcare services concept rose 1.48%.

On the downside, the lead concept fell 2.31%, the zinc concept 2.17%, the gold concept 1.87%, the PET copper foil concept 1.79%, the MLCC concept 1.72%, the copper concept 1.53%, the nickel concept 1.52%, the combustible ice concept 1.42%, the minor metals concept 1.32% and the ultra-supercritical power generation concept 1.30%.

On the funding side, the soybean concept sector recorded a net main-fund outflow of RMB 113 million for the day, with five stocks attracting net main-fund inflows. COFCO Engineering led with a net inflow of RMB 6.2805 million, followed by ST Quanyin, V V Food & Beverage and Su Ken Agricultural Development at RMB 6.0303 million, RMB 4.6844 million and RMB 3.6713 million respectively. By inflow ratio, V V Food & Beverage, COFCO Engineering and ST Quanyin led at 7.65%, 6.22% and 5.91%.

Among individual stock fund data, COFCO Engineering rose 2.11% with a turnover rate of 2.29%, a net main-fund inflow of RMB 6.2805 million and an inflow ratio of 6.22%. ST Quanyin rose 3.38% with a turnover rate of 1.99%, a net inflow of RMB 6.0303 million and a ratio of 5.91%. V V Food & Beverage rose 0.32% with a turnover rate of 1.21%, a net inflow of RMB 4.6844 million and a ratio of 7.65%. Su Ken Agricultural Development rose 3.10% with a turnover rate of 3.70%, a net inflow of RMB 3.6713 million and a ratio of 0.79%. Suobao Protein rose 0.48% with a turnover rate of 1.27%, a net inflow of RMB 561,900 and a ratio of 2.51%. Jiahua Starch rose 1.30% with a turnover rate of 1.17%, a net inflow of RMB 0.00 and a ratio of 0.00%.

Stocks recording net main-fund outflows included: Xinyangfeng, which rose 0.07% with a turnover rate of 0.50%, a net outflow of RMB 85,600 and a ratio of -0.11%; Xianda, which rose 1.04% with a turnover rate of 1.96%, a net outflow of RMB 2.1605 million and a ratio of -4.41%; and *ST Ruimao, which fell 1.18% with a turnover rate of 2.76%, a net outflow of RMB 6.4201 million and a ratio of -12.86%. Dabeinong rose 0.95% with a turnover rate of 2.87%, a net outflow of RMB 14.9007 million and a ratio of -4.59%. Nongfa Seed rose 5.62% with a turnover rate of 10.11%, a net outflow of RMB 14.9978 million and a ratio of -1.97%. Beidahuang rose 0.88% with a turnover rate of 2.13%, a net outflow of RMB 16.0070 million and a ratio of -3.36%. Xinan Chemical fell 3.73% with a turnover rate of 6.25%, a net outflow of RMB 79.1763 million and a ratio of -7.79%.
