SSE Hosts Online International Roadshow for STAR Market's 7th Anniversary, Expands Fifth Listing Standard to

The Shanghai Stock Exchange held an online international roadshow on July 23 to mark the seventh anniversary of the STAR Market, drawing over 30 investment institutions from developed and emerging markets. Under CSRC guidance, the SSE announced the expansion of the fifth set of listing standards to cover artificial intelligence, and released the first multi-asset and convertible bond indices for the STAR Market.

On July 23, the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) held an online international roadshow titled "Focus on the SSE: The Seventh Anniversary of the STAR Market." This was the third session in the "Attracting Medium- to Long-Term Capital" series of international roadshows, with participation from over 30 investment institutions from developed markets in the United States and Europe, as well as emerging markets in Asia and Africa.

During the roadshow, the SSE's relevant departments provided a comprehensive overview of the STAR Market's development achievements over the past seven years and the latest reform progress. Under the guidance of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), the SSE has continued to deepen reforms of the STAR Market, implementing the "1+6" reform package to enhance the inclusiveness and adaptability of the system. The SSE has expanded the scope of key industries supported by the STAR Market, further extending the fifth set of listing standards to the artificial intelligence sector. At the same time, the SSE has been enriching STAR Market investment products, with the STAR 50 Index serving as a representative of a continuously improving index system. This year, the SSE released the first multi-asset indices and the first convertible bond index for the STAR Market, while the scale of STAR Market index products has continued to grow. Going forward, the SSE will continue to deepen reforms of the STAR Market, improve the market ecosystem, and enhance the quality of listed companies on the STAR Market, while also strengthening international promotion and services.
