Shanghai Exchange Leads International Investors on Tour of Nine STAR Market Firms
The Shanghai Stock Exchange organised a "Discover Value" event from August 17 to 20, bringing nearly 30 institutional investors from emerging markets including Thailand and Saudi Arabia to visit nine STAR Market-listed companies across Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai. The companies span artificial intelligence computing power, industrial AI, computer vision, and other hard-tech fields. Participants included family offices, asset managers, insurers, and commercial banks. Since 2026, the exchange has facilitated dialogues between overseas investors and more than 50 Shanghai-listed companies.
From August 17 to 20, the Shanghai Stock Exchange held a "Discover Value -- International Investors Visit STAR Market Companies: Chip and Computing Power" event. Nearly 30 institutional investor representatives from emerging markets including Thailand and Saudi Arabia travelled to Beijing, Hangzhou, and Shanghai to visit nine STAR Market-listed companies. The participating institutions covered a range of foreign capital types, including family offices, asset management firms, insurance companies, and commercial banks.
The companies visited included Moxin Shares, Supcon Technology, and seven other STAR Market listed firms, whose business areas span artificial intelligence computing power, industrial artificial intelligence, computer vision, lithium battery equipment, smart home systems, wireless communication chips, multimedia chips, and embodied intelligence. Investor representatives toured company showrooms, research and development facilities, and production sites. Through site visits and panel discussions, they learned about each company's development history, core technologies, product applications, research and development innovation, and market strategy, and exchanged views with senior management on industry development trends, business growth prospects, corporate governance, and investor returns.
Since 2026, the Shanghai Stock Exchange has organised exchanges between overseas institutional investors and more than 50 Shanghai-listed companies.
