UBS 13F: $790 billion Portfolio Up 18%, Nvidia Top, Micron and Lilly Calls Raised
UBS Group's second-quarter 2026 13F filing showed a total US equity portfolio value of $790 billion, up 18% quarter-on-quarter from $670 billion. Nvidia remained the top holding with a 1.91% portfolio weight, while the bank significantly increased Eli Lilly call options by 4,571% and Micron call options by 174.94%. UBS also raised SPY put options by 155% and trimmed spot positions in Nvidia, TSMC, and Meta amid semiconductor volatility.
UBS Group's second-quarter US stock holdings report filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, as of June 30, 2026, showed total holdings market value of $790 billion, up 18% quarter-on-quarter from $670 billion in the previous quarter.
Among the top ten holdings, Nvidia ranked first with approximately 83.07 million shares and a market value of $16.622 billion, representing 1.91% of the portfolio, with the number of shares slightly down 0.12% from the previous quarter. Apple ranked second with about 51.8 million shares, market value $14.989 billion, up 3.57% in shares. Microsoft ranked third with about 35.88 million shares, market value $13.385 billion, up 8.62%. Broadcom ranked fourth with about 25.14 million shares, market value $9.497 billion, up 2.01%. The S&P 500 ETF ranked fifth with about 12.27 million shares, market value $9.161 billion, down 0.28% from the previous quarter.
Holdings ranked sixth to tenth were Google Class A shares, Eli Lilly call options, S&P 500 ETF put options, Amazon, and Nasdaq 100 ETF call options. Google Class A shares were about 25.32 million shares, market value $9.05 billion, up 4.84%. Eli Lilly call options corresponded to an equivalent of about 7.3 million underlying shares, with a reported market value of $8.756 billion, and the position increased 4571.11% from the previous quarter. SPY put options corresponded to about 11.29 million shares, reported market value $8.433 billion, up 155.10%. Amazon held about 34.23 million shares, market value $8.159 billion, down 0.51%. QQQ call options corresponded to about 9.69 million shares, reported market value $7.138 billion, up 90.40%.
Micron common stock held about 6.09 million shares, ranking 11th, and Micron call options increased 174.94% to an equivalent of about 4.21 million shares. The top five sells were Exxon Mobil, Meta Platforms, high-yield corporate bond ETF put options, gold ETF put options, and gold ETF call options.
During the reporting period, UBS reduced some spot stock exposure in Nvidia, TSMC, and Meta, while increasing SPY put options by about 155% and QQQ put options by about 10%. On June 5 and June 23, the semiconductor sector experienced sharp volatility; on the latter date, the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell 7.9% in a single day, and Micron's stock fell about 13%, yet the Nasdaq still recorded one of its best quarterly performances since 2020.
