Unitree Robotics debuted on the STAR Market on August 19, 2026, with shares opening up over 500%, lifting its market cap above RMB 350 billion. Founder Wang Xingxing, holding about 30% of the company via direct and indirect stakes, saw his holdings valued at over RMB 100 billion, making him the richest post-90s entrepreneur, surpassing Liu Jingkang of Insta360, who topped a 2025 ranking with RMB 20.2 billion.

Unitree Robotics officially began trading on the STAR Market on August 19, 2026, opening with a gain of over 500%, pushing its market capitalization beyond RMB 350 billion. The company, which focuses on robotics research and manufacturing, has now entered the public capital markets with this listing.

According to the prospectus, Wang Xingxing, chairman, general manager and chief technology officer of Unitree Robotics, directly holds 86,714,964 shares, representing 21.4395% of the company's total share capital after the offering. Prior to the offering, Wang also indirectly held a 9.5367% stake through the equity incentive platform Shanghai Yuyi. In total, his direct and indirect holdings amount to approximately 30% of the company. Based on the first-day market capitalization, the value of his shares exceeds RMB 100 billion.

Previously, in a 2025 ranking of post-90s entrepreneurs, Liu Jingkang, founder of Insta360, ranked first with a net worth of RMB 20.2 billion. Following Unitree's listing, Wang Xingxing, with a stake valued at over RMB 100 billion, has become the wealthiest individual among post-90s entrepreneurs.
