US Stocks Open Slightly Lower; Amazon Down Nearly 1%, Alibaba Down Nearly 2%

US stocks opened slightly lower across the three major indices. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.18%, the Nasdaq Composite declined 0.17%, and the S&P 500 dropped 0.18%. Among prominent technology stocks, Amazon fell 0.98%, Netflix declined 0.88%, and Alphabet Class A shares slipped 0.8%.

The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index declined 0.5%. In individual stocks, iQiyi rose 2.71%, while Alibaba fell 1.88%.
